About St. Gabriel Catholic School
Our school first opened its doors in September 2003, and we’ve been growing ever since. In 2013, we added two new kindergarten classrooms to better serve our youngest learners. In 2018, we undertook a greening project to refresh and update our schoolyard and kindergarten yard, creating a more inviting space for play and learning.
Our first graduating class was in June 2004, with 24 students. Together, the school community voted to choose our school colors, purple and gold, and our mascot, the Cubs, in honor of the Assumption Lions, our local high school.
One of the most cherished features of our school is a beautiful cross made from the handprints and names of the 2003-2004 student body. This meaningful piece was created with the help of Rose Risi from Smak Dab and stands proudly outside our gym as a reminder of our close-knit community and shared faith.
At St. Gabriel Catholic School, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where every student can thrive. We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning, nurturing individual growth, and building strong community connections. Welcome to the Cubs family!
